Lisa Gerß and Philipp Mock are promoting the unique counter-current systems from BINDER
BINDER continues to expand its cooperation with top athletes: The swimming pool technology specialist has gained further testimonials for its turbine-driven counter-current systems from the triathletes Lisa Gerß and Philipp Mock. Both have already celebrated quite a bit of success in their careers.
Lisa Gerß is German champion in her age group over the Ironman distance and has won the Hessen championship over the middle distance several times. But the 28-year-old from Bad Pyrmont has set herself even higher goals:
“I want to qualify for the Ironman 70.3 World Championship.”
Lisa Gerß appreciates the sport of swimming above all, “because it’s technically demanding and uses many muscle groups”. And also quite varied:
“Depending on the way you train, it can be a really hard workout or a good way to relax.”
BINDER will sponsor Lisa Gerß over the next two years and plans to produce a series of videos in which the certified ecotrophologist (qualification in nutritional science and home economics) gives tips on the subject of nutrition.
The athletic achievements of Philipp Mock are also impressive: Among other things, the qualified optician finished third at the Ironman in Hawaii in the 18 to 24 age group and was the German runner-up over long distance.
For the now 33-year-old, HydroStar’s wide, powerful current offers ideal conditions to train his technique. “I’ve swum against a few counter-current systems, but it wasn’t until I started using the turbine swimming system from BINDER that I found the perfect solution.”
Philipp Mock is the proud owner of a HydroStar BGA 550 and can therefore prepare optimally for the next sporting challenges.
