Counter current systems generate a strong counter-current in the pool, allowing you to swim on the spot without turning.
The pool water is sucked in and returned to the pool under high pressure with the aid of a turbine.
The counter current systems with original turbine technology are available in 8 power levels – offering the right flow strength for everyone.
Pump-driven counter current systems generate a point-like flow that puts strain on one side of the body. Turbine-based counter-current systems, on the other hand, produce a broad, powerful volume flow that keeps the swimmer in balance. Turbine-driven counter current systems also provide a natural swimming feeling, similar to swimming in a river, and consume significantly less energy than pump systems.
Turbine swimming systems are available in different performance classes. Models with a volume flow of 160 m3 to 550 m3 per hour are suitable for recreational swimmers. Particularly ambitious swimmers can choose between two special sizes with flow rates of 600 m3 and 1,200 m3 respectively. All models are individually adjustable and can be adapted to your own needs.
Yes, turbine swimming systems can be retrofitted into any standard pool type. It does not matter whether it is a one-piece pool, an above-ground pool, a swimming pond or a natural pool, or whether it is made of concrete, stainless steel or GRP. The only requirement is that the pool has a minimum size of 4.5 m x 2.5 m.
Yes, that’s no problem. Turbine swimming systems can be conveniently switched on and off at any time, and the EasyStar can also be removed from the pool if necessary.
Retrofit systems are simply hung over the pool edge and screwed in place with a few drill holes. An electrician then lays the cable to the control unit and, after a few simple steps, you can start enjoying your swim.
