Our Mechanical Manufacturing team produces components and assemblies in accordance with drawings from the Design department and orders from the Process Planning department. Production ranges from one-off items and bespoke products to large-scale production runs. The raw materials required are cut to size on the automatic band saw. Our colleagues then turn and mill plastics and a wide variety of metallic materials. After this, all parts are thoroughly inspected in accordance with the specified dimensions and tolerances.

Our colleagues programme, operate and set up various CNC machines to suit each specific job. This is how the components that ensure the reliability of HydroStar, EasyStar, LittleStarlet and our MecaTec drives are produced. In addition, initial prototypes and test parts are produced on CNC and conventional machines for our Development and Design departments. In this way, an idea quickly becomes a robust design that forms the basis for MORE performance in the pool and pool cover.

Our two senior managers provide the department with further impetus. One focuses on prototype construction as well as the planning and manufacture of assembly jigs, oversees training on conventional machinery, and finds practical solutions to many technical challenges. Our other colleague is responsible for our industrial and technical apprentices and ensures that machinery and systems are well maintained. He programmes the welding robot and, in collaboration with the Purchasing department, coordinates the procurement of special materials and tools. Together, they all ensure that production, training and technology work together seamlessly.
