Swimming in Andalusia
a dream project with BINDER technology
Right by the beach in southern Spain, a German entrepreneur has fulfilled a dream: a 25-metre-long swimming pool with a view of the Atlantic. It is sporty, consistent and clearly thought through, just like its owner. The centrepiece of the pool is our HydroStar turbine swimming system, which makes the project a unique water experience.
More than just a pool
The customer, in his early 50s and a passionate sportsman, wanted MORE than just a traditional pool. Its length of exactly 25 metres allows him to extrapolate his training to Olympic dimensions when swimming without a counter-current system.
But it was this size that also motivated him to choose our system: the feeling of being able to swim seamlessly from the pool into the sea. This coherent concept was decisive.
The entire garden area, including the pool, blends in perfectly with the architecture of the house, which was developed by well-known planner Carlos Vega. He placed particular emphasis on symmetry and clear lines, making the pool the centrepiece of the entire outdoor area. Every terrace has a view of the water.
The pool project was realised by the experienced swimming pool builder SST Sauerwein from Rum near Innsbruck. Hotel-quality pipework and filter technology were used, which are fully connected via Wi-Fi. Even from a distance of 2,500 kilometres, the pool builder can access the system at any time. The combination of planning, construction quality and state-of-the-art technology created a dream here that fulfils even the highest demands.
Elegant depth: visually and technically
One special detail is the lining of the pool in the high-quality RENOLIT ALKORPLAN film TOUCH in the colour Vanity, which gives the water a luxurious feeling of depth.

More sport and relaxation
In addition to the swimming pool, relaxation spots with integrated USB ports and a separate plunge pool with diving board provide variety. With a depth of 3.80 metres, it offers a real Acapulco feeling. And offers a direct view of the sea.
The customer is currently living in Andalusia for many months, working remotely and enjoying his daily swimming sessions with HydroStar. The feedback is clear: the system impresses across the board. He actively recommends it to others and is already planning a get-together at which he will invite sports-loving friends to try out the current for themselves.
